26 of May remarkable day in the history of Georgia.This year Independence Day was celebrated in a different and unique format. Parade participants attended the grand exhibition specially organised for this extraordinary day. Georgia’s Innovation and Technology agency, of course, was very remarkable with its innovativeness. Drone,excited guests by Oculus Rift, business marathon and computer games, it's a small list of activities throughout the day led by GITA. During the event Because of the uniqueness of it there was unlimited flow of the people going in the tents.
GITA represented 3 different pavilions and exponents on the parade. The main attention was drawn towards revolutionary technologies. Oculus Rift which has just got 2 billion dollars from facebook was tried out by Vice prime minister and Economy and Sustainable development minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the minister of Energy and Natural resources,Kakhi kaladze.
The Innovations represented by GITA demonstrates that active cooperation between the Agency and Scientists and inventors. On the exhibition Georgian computer games company "Lemondo" represented games and applications,also computer games producers of the International Association of Georgian companies - "Storm Bringer Studios", "Pyxie Games", "Happy Group", "Jump of Fall" and other products. The Association for Computer Graphics "CG Georgia" was one of the guests of Georgia’s Innovations and Technology Agency . Inventors surprised everyone by their significant work - wireless electric power transmission system, Georgian robot, electric guitar, 3D camera and other real artworks.
Business Marathon "20=200", took off on the morning of May 26. Its's a wonderful project which in 2013 was named as the best youth project by the Ministry of sports and Youth, and allows young entrepreneurs test their ideas and turn them into real business activities.
To summarize the results of the May 26th, GITA really dignified speech in front of thousands of Georgians gathered on Rustaveli Avenue. Introduced and to remember the many innovative and exciting projects.
